In what has become a great rivalry in the PNESHL the NH Wildcats and CT Wolfpack squared off in the first game Sunday in Danbury. CT set the tone for the game scoring very early in the first period and following up with a second goal only minutes later. It took the Cats half the game to wake up from the drive and start scoring. However, the youthful CT team outplayed NH in all aspects of the game and deserved the 5-3 win. “They wanted it more,” said Tom Carr Coach of the Wildcats, “we were beat front to back!” The CT Wolf Pack is a credit to the league and its development potential. “The grass roots growth, development, and improvement of the Wolf Pack team is unmatched,” said Carr “where they have come, in such a short time, is a credit to their coaches, parents, and most of all players!”
