November 18, 2005: The CT Sled Hockey Wolfpack has an ambitious schedule planned for the 2005-2006 hockey season. They are a founding member of the Prudential Northeast Sled Hockey League which will be playing 8 games at the Danbury Ice Arena in Danbury, CT on Dec. 4, 2005, Jan. 22, Feb 19, and March 19, 2006. The other teams in the league are from Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and New York.

In addition to the league games the Wolfpack will be playing games in Connecticut against Vermont and the Long Island Rough Riders. They will play in 6 to 8 team Tournament in April in Ottawa Canada against teams from Ottawa, Quebec and Montreal and other Ontario teams. They will also play in the New England Invitational Sled Hockey tournament at Amelia Park in Westfield, Mass the weekend of April 21-23, 2006.

The Wolfpack's “Celebrity Game” which features former NHL stars and local television and radio personalities is scheduled for March 25, 2006 at the Hartford Civic Center prior to the AHL Hartford Wolfpack Game.

The latest new program that the Wolfpack is introducing is games against able bodied teams. These teams will be playing in sleds experiencing the challenges of playing adaptive hockey.  The teams that have currently scheduled games are the Northern Lights elite girl’s team, The Eagle Brook Prep School (Deerfield, Mass) varsity hockey team. Dates, times and schedules are being reviewed for games against the Westminster Prep School Hockey program, Loomis Chaffee Prep School hockey program, Simsbury High School Girls Hockey. CT Sled Hockey extends an invitation to CT High Schools to contact us to schedule games. CT Sled Hockey will also be a member of CHC and welcomes games from youth hockey teams.
